It has been a week since my last post, and I figured it was time for a life update.

My life is pretty hot right now, to a certain degree being a direct consequence of the insane amount of Tabasco I have been guzzling down recently (it goes with everything!)!

But on a serious note.

I have come to accept who I am deep down as an individual and who I need to stand beside me in the future.

I feel self reflection to be most accurate when sleep deprived and ravaged from the after effects of an almost lethal dose of caffeine.

This week I discovered what muffins taste like, that Skyeskye is funfunfun when hyper & that chopping down a tree is good for both my body and my soul.

Thus clearly my social and philosophical quota for the week has been reached.

Business

I am uber busy, I have stopped taking in new work until I get my current projects done- plans in the works with Lara & other sexy people/companies so I am extremely tired but thankful that at least I have a job and thus the opportunity to be tired.

Sharp things

SOG have been complete retards regarding the new 2010 line up. Epic fail- see the thread at bladeforums here! Completely despicable “business” practise, I wont be purchasing a SOG anytime soon.

Not amused.

Spyderco is launching the new FRN UKPK’s so I am of course super excited!

Lots of new knives coming out and I think they deserve a new post for themselves.

Inky things

Been using my new planner everyday and I am very happy with how it is going.

Starting to get back into sketching and drawing but I just dont have much time, hopefully I will have some stuff to upload in February!

Besides that I still have lots of reviews coming up.

Networking

I have started to update my list of the websites I frequent and thus for your viewing pleasure:

Twitter me

Last.FM me

Facebook me

Formspring me

I will have some new posts up very soon!

December 27, 2009 My life & general musings Comments

I woke up early on Christmas morning and had a nice walk. Very cold and I think you can see that from the photograph above (I took with my phone).

Then went home and had a traditional Christmas lunch.

Cut up the turkey with a Spydie (of course!).

Hope everyone had a good Christmas.

2009.

I put my faith in the wrong person and suffered the cost.

Only one direction to go and thats forwards.

Chin up and eyes ahead.

I wont let this event take me out of the fight, what kind of warrior would I be if I let that happen.

2010.

Lots of new projects and things planned, I am optimistic about a happy 2010.

Thanks to my slightly less pretty twin who was there for me and helped me see things a different way.

Sally,  for always being a true, loving friend.

Jo, no need to write a sentence, you know what you have done for me.

And to my family and other friends, your not perfect but I wouldn’t have it any other way<3

Some of you know that I just arrived in Europe from Singapore so here are some life updates!

I left Singapore at 1am on my way to Dubai (Flying Emirates transit flight).

Slight problem with baggage due to being over the limit by 4kg but some helpful smooth talking by Uncle Bernard & an agreeable line manager allowed me to carry on without losing any of my stuff, thus success!

After a brief but heartfelt goodbye to Auntie and Uncle Koh I made my way to the gate, the original plan was to go to toastbox and warm up but it was out of service and delifrance was overflowing with tourists so no go for me. :(

At the gate I chilled for 1hour and then when through the superbly efficient set up that is Changi airport and thus I was on my way to Dubai!

I was sitting next to an Australian couple (I presume husband and wife) on their way to India for a holiday, had the usual Emirates gastronomic fare which was as usual rather palatable and downed a few Irish whiskeys while nestling in my seat to try to catch some sleep.

4 hours later I reached Dubai.

I previously mentioned how much I loathed Dubai airport partly due to how pointlessly spread out everything is but the one reason why I truly hate it is based on the shitty customer service from the fuck ups manning the desks.

Just thinking about it now my blood boils so I wont waste anymore time on them but needless to say it was not amusing- the customs guy at Dubai was a Saudi who studied in France and we had a nice time just chatting which was the only positive note from my brief stay in Dubai.

Then I headed to Europe, the flight was nice thanks to a friendly Hong Kong resident who was sitting next to me, 5 hours of pleasant conversation was great.

And finally I am back in the EU, nothing much to add beyond the obvious. Its very cold and my skin is cracking! Looking forward to some long walks in the near future and some bugging out.

One of the first things I did was to drown my boots in dubbin so now my Doc’s are everything proof and I am ready for adventure!

Besides that I have been drinking copious amounts of coffee & chinese black tea!

Since returning to Europe I have been planning to bulk up.

Currently on a high protein diet with daily carbs & weight training regimen every 2 days. Hopefully I will regain some semblance of heft!

I will be returning to Asia in a few months, most likely HK or Japan but maybe somewhere else- we shall see.

New post in a few days!

Ok, Blog is now back online! So many issues cropped up after upgrading & in all fairness most due to the plugins I use which have yet to be upgraded by the authors (see here!) but after disabling some of  them and deleting easy adsense[r] completely I managed to get most of the blog to work fine.

Then I went to write a post and the visual editor disappeared (most irritating) however the solution ended up being pretty box standard; tools>reinstall & then clear cache in firefox + reload and everything was fine. Check out the following posts:
