Same here, hate the cover, and the paper is very good for both ink and pencil stuff; also tried a light wash with a water-soluble pencil, and it turned out better than expected, not too wavy!

I agree with your review. Love the paper, love the design, but the cover is rather weak. Of course, I got it for the paper, not the cover. I’m glad my sketchbook is dark green instead of mauve!

I have a graf it pad, but the cover’s not mauve, it’s a steely blue. Wonderful paper.

Hmm, Interestingly the back of the cover is actually quite beautiful in its simplicity.

Now do something similar for the front and replace mauve with ivory or ebony (yes please!) and it will be gorgeous!
